Goal 11: Sustainable Cities and Communities

Make cities and human settlements inclusive, safe, resilient and sustainable.

Our work to achieve the goal:

We are committed to add additional environmental and social sustainability criteria in our crediting processes. We also want to participate in the debate on sustainable cities and sustainable urban development, where we want to work for innovation, development and change in diverse ways.

The problem of increased homelessness is an area where SBAB together with Stockholm Stadsmission has taken a position since 2015 and involving major property companies. A first stage goal is to halve the emergency homelessness in Stockholm by 2018. We also participate in the debate on sustainable urban and urban development and want to be in the process of pushing for a change at a political level.
