Corporate Responsibility at SBAB

For SBAB, corporate responsibility (CR) means conducting operations in a responsible manner so that negative environmental impact is minimised and the company contributes to sustainable social development. SBAB focuses on areas in which the company has the greatest potential to make a difference.

Environment

SBAB contributes to sustainable environmental development through such initiatives as increasing its use of environmentally certified suppliers and by reducing travel within the company.

Stakeholder dialogue

To ensure that SBAB:s operations are able to develop in the right direction, an awareness of the business environment:s wishes, demands and expectations of the company is imperative.

The Global Compact & GRI

SBAB has signed the UN's Global Compact and supports the 10 principles in respect of human rights, working conditions, environment and anti-corruption. SBAB reports sustainable development in line with Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) level C+.
